La soirée d'adieu

Today was the last day of our study abroad program. All of the groups gave their presentations this morning. My group’s presentation was on our company visit to the Domaine des Rochelles winery. The goal of the presentation was to evaluate the company in regards to sustainability. A professor gave our group an especially hard time during the ‘questions and answers’ portion of our presentation however, that aside, we did an exceptional job.
That afternoon, I dinned at the school cafeteria for my last time before heading home to take a short nap.Later that evening, Jill, my host family, and myself walked to a park where the school was hosting an end of the program party. We wined and dinned as well all reminisced about the past month. Post-dinner, we walked back home and shared several bottles of wine with our host parents realizing that this was going to be the last time we be doing this. After several hours of conversation, Jill and I scurried out of the door to meet our friends at ‘Falstaff,’ a popular bar for past Aggies who have visited Angers.
