The day finally arrived. Our train pulled into the Paris terminal around 09:00. We leisurely walked to the hostel to meet up with our study abroad group and caught the metro to Notre Dame. It was a moving experience. The pictures say it all.

Post Notre Dame, we walked around Paris, exploring a number of different neighborhoods. The diversity of immigrants that have made Paris their home was astounding. From African to Vietnamese, Paris is an international city rich in culture, cuisine, and character.

Our group dinned together at the hostel and started the evening off with a jager-train. Overwhelmed and extremely tired, this blog must be cut short. I can assure you more is to come from this beautiful city however, a bottle of French wine in the company of new friends calls my name. Until tomorrow...
