Classes started off with French and then multicriterium evaluation of cropping systems which was followed with a little lab. Thankfully, the remainder of the day's classes were canceled and we enjoyed the rest of the day off.

Maya, our host family's dog, being pestered by the neighbor's cat
After a lunch, a visit to a bakery, and a nap, Jill and I shared some time on the patio playing with our family's dog, Maya. For dinner we dinned on steak, potatoes au gratin, watercress salad, and a baguette(of course). The main course was followed by a cheese plate and an array of dessert options. We even drank tea from a bowl, the customary vessel for coffee and tea in many French homes (they said mugs are too British).
